The Hooper Lane garden features a traditional cottage border at the entrance in keeping with the charm of its setting in historic Chapel Hill. There are also a courtyard garden, a peony and dahlia border, a wisteria pergola, and other garden areas of flowering shrubs, trees, perennials, and flowering vines for color and fragrance the year round.
