The
historic Paul Green House and garden is a wonderful setting for
an extensive perennial border and an herb and cutting garden laid
out in formal design. The perennial border begins the spring show
with tulips and flowering trees and shrubs, and progresses through
the summer and fall with perennials and shrubs. As the summer
passes into fall, the colors change from soft to bold. The formal
herb garden features shrubs and perennials for cutting throughout
the year, but especially in the winter and fall.
The
Paul Green House was featured on the 2002 Chapel Hill Garden Tour
in the Greenwood Road area of Chapel Hill.
