What all our gardens have in common are color, texture, fragrance and interest in every season. We believe that a real garden is a living thing that changes and evolves over time.
"Gardens are the slowest of the performing arts, and their lives can long exceed ours..."
from Mac Griswold and Eleanor Weller in The Golden Age of American Gardens
We want our gardens to be inviting at all seasons for clients, children and pets, and other living creatures. We design to have something to enjoy in the garden every day: small treasures in the midst of winter, the welcome early flush of life in spring, busy sunny summer borders and lush shady gardens, and fall gardens of colorful trees, shrubs and late flowering perennials.
